The Rainbow Fish is a popular story by Marcus Pfister. I always enjoy reading this story (as it has a good moral) to my Prep students at the beginning of the year. After we have finished the story I like to use the included template to allow the kids to create their own Rainbow Fish. If you grab some shiny paper and cut it up then they can put the shiny paper on their own fish. If you have buddies in your school this is a great activity as the older children enjoy creating their own rainbow fish as well.
